Te'PAN Le OMUS: A Unique Culinary Experience in Historic Kawagoe

Te'PAN Le OMUS: A Unique Culinary Experience in Historic Kawagoe

Enjoy the good old Japanese hearth style charcoal grill in a completely private room!

Nestled in the picturesque streets of Kawagoe, often referred to as "Little Edo," Te'PAN Le OMUS offers a one-of-a-kind dining experience in a private setting. Just 40 minutes away from central Tokyo, this Saitama-based haven captivates with its ancient Edo ambiance.

Restaurant Experience

Te'PAN Le OMUS is set in the historical district of Kawagoe City in Saitama Prefecture. The area, commonly known as "Little Edo," boasts a series of old storehouses with traditional architectural designs. Our restaurant is housed in a structure that blends seamlessly into this vintage backdrop, appearing like an old Japanese farmhouse.

While the exterior captivates with its traditional tile roofing and lattice windows, the interior is a comfortable blend of antique and modern design. Interestingly, the restaurant's layout was conceived by the owner's younger brother.

At the heart of the restaurant lies a private room known as "Little Edo Chamber," equipped with a Japanese traditional open hearth or "irori." This cozy enclave is where the magic happens. Guests can observe the chef skillfully cooking the dishes right before their eyes over the irori. As you hear the crackling fire and see the slow caramelization of meat and vegetables, the experience becomes more than just a meal and it turns into an unforgettable moment.
